ST OLAVES COURT
LONDON, W2 4JY

Designing new gardens
St Olaves Court has a beautiful front garden and peaceful communal garden at the rear of the building.
However, it was not always thus. In the 1990s, the back garden was plain and neglected.
Two St Olaves residents, Mary and Anthony Seed brought the garden back to life. Shrubs and roses were planted and flower pots appeared. Today the garden is full of colour.

Until the renovations of 2005, there was no front garden, just a bridge to the entrance from pavement level, which floated over grey cobbled stones.
Mary Seed together with professional gardener Henrietta Parsons planned an elegant front garden which residents and passersby enjoy all year round.
